From wet-end to dry-end, PRG grinds and processes the rolls, reels, drums and dryers that are essential to today's paper mill processes.  

PRG was founded in 1970 by veteran paper industry engineer George Maniatty and has grown by focusing exclusively on roll grinding, rebuild and fabrication. PRG's four plants — in Allentown, Pa.; Carrollton, Ga.; Lewisport, Ky.; and Texarkana, Ark. — are built from the ground up for this unique specialty.

Swim rolls are a PRG specialty

Many of our customers have so much confidence in our abilities that they entrust PRG to repair and rebuild their variable crown rolls. Precision Roll Grinders successfully rebuilds, upgrades and modifies rolls manufactured by Kusters, Valmet, Metso, Beloit CC Series, Voith-Profil and Nipco, Hunt and Moscrop, and Farrel.

The experienced choice for suction roll rebuilds

Suction rolls can be rebuilt or upgraded to incorporate the newest technological improvements. At our special Suction Roll Test Station, they are tested under vacuum to simulate plant conditions prior to shipping.
